A US military C-17 aircraft is returning over 200 Indian nationals who were deported from the US, with New Delhi involved in verifying each individual's deportation.

Axar.az reports that this is expected to be the first of many such flights for deported illegal Indian immigrants.
The Indian Foreign Ministry has not yet commented, but the government has previously stated its opposition to illegal migration.

The US has conducted similar deportations to countries like Guatemala and Honduras under President Trump's administration. Both India and the US are working to address illegal migration, while promoting legal migration options.
