Russia supplies helicopters to South Korea after 10 years

Russia delivered helicopters to South Korea for the first time in ten years.

Axar.az reports that this was stated by the South Korean Statistics Service.

According to the information, in 2024, the total volume of aircraft parts imported from Russia by the Asian country amounted to 5.2 million dollars or 34.5 tons:

"South Korea imported various spare parts for airplanes, helicopters, and drones from Russia worth 2.9 million dollars, including propellers worth 2.04 million dollars. In addition to these parts, Seoul bought helicopters from Moscow for the first time since 2014, spending 4.1 million dollars on helicopters weighing over 2 tons."

Last year, the total import of aircraft and their components from Russia to the Asian country amounted to 9.3 million dollars for 39.8 tons.
