Trump appoints Michael Kavukyan as US Ambassador to Norway

U.S. President Donald Trump has appointed Michael Kavukyan, a former employee of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) of Armenian descent, as the Ambassador to Norway.

Axar.az reports that the American leader made this announcement on the “Truth” social network.

"I am pleased to announce that Michael E. Kavoukjian will serve as the next United States Ambassador to the Kingdom of Norway,” Trump wrote.

It is worth noting that Kavukyan was previously an employee of the CIA and is a graduate of Stanford University and Harvard Law School.
