Moldovan government closes Russian House in response to drone attacks.
Axar.az reports that Moldovan authorities are suspending the activities of the Russian House operating in the country in response to the violation of the country's airspace by unmanned aerial vehicles.
Moldova also announced its withdrawal from the Agreement on the Activity of Cultural Centers signed with Russia in 1998.
The Moldovan Foreign Ministry reported that the Russian House will be closed only after the liquidation procedure is completed.
On the day of the event, the Russian ambassador to Moldova was summoned to the Foreign Ministry and a strong protest was made to him, and it was noted that such initiatives pose a serious threat to security and the citizens of Moldova: "At the same time, the Russian diplomat was informed that similar steps are a violation of national sovereignty and an unfriendly step."
It was also reported that the diplomat was shown a photograph showing fragments of UAVs that fell on the territory of the country.
Official Chisinau once again called on the Russian authorities to refrain from similar steps and to respect the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the country.
It should be noted that the activities of the "Russian House" located in Baku have also been suspended.
