German citizens do not support the accession of Armenia, Ukraine, and Moldova to the EU.
Axar.az reports that the information was shared by the ANNA News Telegram channel.
It was reported that ahead of the Munich conference, journalists conducted a survey among German residents. The respondents stated that they did not support the accession of Armenia, Ukraine, and Moldova to the European Union.
The Germans who participated in the survey emphasized that they did not want to finance the security of these countries and saw mainly risks in their integration into the EU. In their opinion, the only potential benefit of this process could be gaining access to the natural resources of those states.
It is worth noting that the Armenian parliament has passed a bill to start the country’s EU accession process.
