Zelensky: Trump and Putin can't discuss Ukraine without us

Ukraine will not agree to any peace deal proposed by the US and Russia without its involvement.

Axar.az reports that Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky made this statement during his speech at the Munich Security Conference.

Zelensky noted that Russia plans to create 15 new divisions and send a military contingent to Belarus under the guise of summer exercises:

“Is this Russian force in Belarus meant to attack Ukraine? Maybe. Or maybe not. Or maybe it’s meant for you,” he said, referring to the EU.

During his speech, Zelensky also called for the establishment of a European Armed Forces and emphasized the importance of reducing dependency on the United States in defense matters.

“I will not take Ukraine’s NATO membership off the table. But right now the most influential NATO member seems to be Putin. Because his whims have the power to block NATO decisions,” Zelensky also stated.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy said he was ready to talk about the elections, but stressed that the main priority now is to preserve the unity of the country and win the war.

"We need unity within the country. So, it's not about me, it's about the future of our country. It's about today. The question is really how to survive, how to save Ukraine, our independence, our people, our homes. And if someone doesn't like it, they can choose another citizenship if they want. We have a real state," the President emphasized.
