The peace deal lacks Constitution and Corridor provisions

The peace agreement did not address the issues related to the Constitution (of Armenia - ed.) and the corridor.

Axar.az reports that Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said this in a conversation with journalists in parliament today.

“One of the disagreed articles concerns the deployment of third-country forces on the border, and the other concerns legal and other diplomatic disputes in international organizations. The peace agreement does not cover issues related to the Constitution and the corridor,” he said.

Pashinyan noted that there are many layers and nuances here. In particular, the parties could not agree on the issue of the presence of European observers on the border.

It should be noted that Armenia unilaterally extended the mandate of the EU “monitoring mission” until February 2027.
