Differences in approaches to the conflict in Ukraine have led to a strategic rift in relations between the United States and its main European allies.

Axar.az reports that this was stated by Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban before a meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron in Paris.

"Under President Donald Trump, there is a strategic rift, a transatlantic rift between most of Europe and the United States. One side insists on continuing the war in Ukraine, while the other tries to stop the conflict. Hungary remains firmly committed to peace," Orban stressed.
