Zelensky expects first results from US-Ukraine meeting

President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that Ukraine and the United States are working on organizing a new meeting.

Axar.az reports that citing Ukrainian media, the President expects positive results by next week, he said during his evening address.

"Today, our teams - Ukraine and the United States - started working on the meeting. Andriy Yermak and Michael Waltz spoke, and there has been a positive movement. We hope for the first results next week," Zelensky said.

The President noted that Ukraine is currently engaging in significant international efforts. Specifically, today, March 5, he spoke with the prime ministers of the Netherlands, Portugal, and Slovenia, as well as with the German chancellor. Zelensky thanked the European leaders for their support.

He also mentioned that Ukraine is actively preparing for the upcoming EU summit, which will take place tomorrow, March 6, in Brussels.

"And we need to revive progress on the European front, particularly regarding our Eurointegration and the negotiation clusters for EU accession. We rely on the support of our partners," Zelensky emphasized.
