Russia welcomes the completion of negotiations on the text of the draft peace agreement between Azerbaijan and Armenia.

Axar.az reports that this was stated by the spokeswoman of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova.

According to her, Russia is ready to create a platform for contacts between representatives of Azerbaijan and Armenia to normalize bilateral relations.

Zakharova also said that Moscow aims to assist in the signing of a peace agreement between Baku and Yerevan and the restoration of transport communications in the region.
