At least 50 people have been injured in the attack by police forces on protesting farmers in the Herand district of Isfahan province.

Axar.az reports that this information was provided by the head of the Herand Farmers Union, Hussein Mohammadi.

He stated that there were many injured, and the identities of 50 of those hospitalized in local hospitals have been identified.

It is noted that Isfahan farmers and thousands of people working in agriculture have been protesting for several days over the lack of water allocation for irrigation in their fields.
