The Indian Air Force units located near the border with Pakistan have been put on combat alert. In particular, fighter jets located at military bases in Rajasthan and Punjab are on full combat alert.

Axar.az informs that this was reported by the Times of India.

It was reported that Rafale fighters purchased from France and armed with Scalp surface-to-air cruise missiles with a range of up to 300 km may also be involved in military missions.

It should be noted that India-Pakistan relations have been strained since the shooting of tourists in Jammu and Kashmir on April 22.
