Ukraine is not capable of becoming a member of NATO and the EU because its economic situation is unsatisfactory.

Axar.az reports that Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban stated this in an interview with the LCI TV channel.

"Ukraine was bankrupt even before the conflict. In the 1990s, Ukrainians were unable to build a state with a normally functioning economy," the prime minister said.

According to Orban, Ukraine's accession to the EU will result in major problems for society.

The prime minister noted that Ukraine's accession to NATO is also unacceptable.
