Following Hamas’ response to the latest ceasefire and hostage release proposal, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has recalled the negotiation team from Qatar.

Axar.az informs that this was reported by The Times of Israel, citing Netanyahu’s office.

It is stated that the decision was made to continue consultations within Israel.

“We highly appreciate the efforts of Qatari and Egyptian mediators, as well as U.S. Special Envoy Steven Wietkopf, to achieve progress in the negotiations,” the statement from Netanyahu’s office reads.

It remains unclear whether this statement signals a complete halt to the negotiations.
