Russia strengthens military presence in Armenia

Russia is significantly strengthening its 102nd military base in Armenia.

Axar.az reports that citing Armenia’s “Hraparak” newspaper.

According to the publication, in recent weeks, a large amount of military equipment and ammunition has been transported to the base in Gyumri. Several military cargo planes land at the base daily.

The purpose of these supplies is unknown, but various hypotheses have been proposed. One theory suggests that Moscow is preparing for possible changes in the region.

The publication also claims that the Armenian authorities are aware of the developments but do not openly comment on the situation.
