At a checkpoint in the Ukrainian city of Chernihiv, a person was detained who attempted to hand over to military personnel an improvised explosive device disguised as a McDonald's burger.

Axar.az reports, citing Ukrainian National News, that investigators are conducting measures, and the issue of suspicion is being decided.

At one of the checkpoints in Chernihiv, an individual attempted to hand over to servicemen an improvised explosive device disguised as a burger from McDonald's; the person has been detained, reported the SBU and the Main Department of the National Police in the region. Currently, investigators of the Security Service, under the procedural guidance of the prosecutor's office, as stated, are conducting the necessary procedural measures.

"The issue of notifying the detained person of suspicion is being resolved," the SBU noted.
