An agreement has been signed on the sale of 10 An-178 aircrafts between Ukrainian "Antonov" state company and Azerbaijan.
According to the report of the Ukrainian media, the parties agreed to deliver the planes in two batches over two years.
First 2, then 8 aircraft will be brought to Azerbaijan. Value of the contract is not disclosed. Only the initial payment has been announced.
Note that the An-178 military transport aircraft and has carried out its first flight in 2015. An aircraft is capable of carrying up to 18 tons.
Recall that a week ago, President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko addressing at the plant of "Antonov" noted that he and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev had agreed on the sale of "Antonov" aircraft.
