Zakir Hasanov met with the Georgian speaker

During the visit of the delegation of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Georgia, on January 21, Colonel-General Zakir Hasanov met with the Speaker of the Parliament of Georgia Archil Talakvadze.

Axar.az informs that, the statement said that the Azerbaijani-Georgian relations are based on friendship and mutual trust. The sides stated that these relations, which are of mutual interest, contribute to the maintenance of peace, stability and security in the region.

The sides also stressed the importance of developing military cooperation between Azerbaijan and Georgia as well as mutual support in these issues.

The meeting was attended by Azerbaijani Ambassador to Georgia Dursun Hasanov and others.
