Peacekeepers began shooting exercises in Karabakh

The servicemen of the Russian peacekeeping contingent in Karabakh have started regular combat training at the Khankendi and Agdara landfills.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from the press service of the Russian Defense Ministry.

During the exercises, the military fired various types of targets from machine guns and sniper rifles, weapons and anti-tank grenades, as well as BTR-82A weapons of armoured personnel carriers.

In addition, Russian peacekeepers were tasked with throwing grenades.

In total, about 200 Russian servicemen and more than 20 vehicles were involved in the training.
