Azerbaijan has taken control of 12 buildings and structures in the Gorus region of Armenia's Syunik province.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from Gorus Deputy Mayor Irina Yolyan.

According to Yolyan, 3 out of 12 buildings are residential:

"Residents have removed their property. Along with the houses, the buildings built by one of the local horticultural enterprises will be handed over to Azerbaijan. Azerbaijanis are already in this area. There is information that they want to put another sign there," Yolyan said.
