On January 11, the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Colonel-General Zakir Hasanov, met with a delegation led by the Commander of the Air Force of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Air Marshal Mujahid Anwar Khan, who is on a working visit to our country.

The sides expressed satisfaction with the traditional level of friendship and mutual trust between our peoples, as well as the growing development of Azerbaijani-Pakistani relations and the level of strategic partnership.

In turn, the Pakistan Air Force Commander congratulated the Azerbaijani people on the victory in the Great Patriotic War, wished God's mercy to the martyred servicemen and civilians, and healing the wounded.

The sides discussed the development of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Pakistan in the fields of military, military-technical, and military education, as well as between the air forces of the two countries and the further expansion of ties.
