Russian MoD: Azerbaijan has done a lot in this area

Last autumn, thanks to the efforts and will of the leaders of the three countries, perhaps the longest and bloodiest conflict in the post-Soviet space was virtually stopped.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from Russian Deputy Defense Minister, Colonel-General Alexander Fomin at the opening ceremony of the Turkish-Russian Joint Monitoring Center built in the liberated territory of Aghdam region.

He said that close cooperation had been established between the Russian and Turkish defence ministries to establish a joint centre to monitor the ceasefire and all combat operations.
