Azerbaijan is one of the few countries producing SMGs

Today, a variety of weapons and military equipment are produced by unions and enterprises under the Ministry of Defense Industry.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from Defense Industry Minister Madat Guliyev.

He said that Azerbaijan is currently one of the few countries producing small and medium-sized firearms, which are a means of self-defence and destruction of the enemy.

"In addition, we create and master normative and technical documents for aviation, engineering, communications, optical and other military products."
