According to the trilateral statement, signed by President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, President of the Russian Federation and Armenian Prime Minister on November 10, 2020, full withdrawal of remains of Armenian armed forces from Azerbaijani territories, temporarily settled by peacekeeping forces of the Russian Federation, has not been provided.

Axar.az reports the statement came from the MoD.

"Over the recent days, Armenia's grossly violating the trilateral statement and carrying personnel of its armed forces to the Azerbaijani territories, temporarily settled by peacekeeping forces of the Russian Federation, establishing new Armenian posts nearby Mukhtarkend, Shushakend settlements, as well as in territories in the eastern direction of administrative borders of Kalbajar and Lachin districts are observed.

Adequate measures are taken by the Azerbaijani Army and such cases are not allowed. The Armenian side resorts to such kinds of provocations purposefully to aggravate the situation.

All of these happen against the background of irresponsible and provocative order of the new Minister of Defense of Armenia Arshak Karapetyan to the Armenian army to use force by all means. We would like to remind that the Former Defense Minister of Armenia David Tonoyan also spoke with a saboteur military doctrine called “new wars, new territories”. His disgraceful destiny is known to everybody.

All adequate measures will be provided by the Azerbaijani Army. In accordance with the provisions of the trilateral statement, the peacekeeping forces of the Russian Federation must put an end to the cases of the deployment of Armenian armed forces in Azerbaijan territories, where they are temporarily dislocated” - the statement reads.
