The information spread by the Armenian side about the alleged death of an Armenian serviceman as a result of the fire of the Azerbaijani Army units in the direction of Zarkand settlement of Basarkechar region is not true.

Axar.az informs that this was reported by the Defense Ministry.

"On the contrary, during the day, the positions of the Azerbaijani Army were fired at by the Armenian armed forces in different directions.

The information spread by the other side about the alleged losses of our units is also false, "the ministry added.
