From 19:55 to 20:20 on August 16, Armenian armed forces fired at the positions of the Azerbaijani Army in the direction of Heydarabad settlement of Sadarak region of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic from their positions in Arazdayan settlement of Vedi region with sniper rifles, submachine guns and machine guns.

Axar.az informs that this was reported with reference to the Defense Ministry.

Our positions in the direction of Yellija and Zeylik settlements of Kalbajar region were fired at by 21:20 from the positions of Ashagi and Yukhari Shorja settlements of Basarkechar region by firearms and machine guns.

In addition, from 21:35 to 22:28, the opposite side fired at the positions of the Azerbaijani Army in Zamanli and Galakend settlements of Gadabay region from their positions in Lezgigaya settlement of Chambarak region and Goysu settlement of Basarkechar region.

There are no casualties among the personnel of the Azerbaijani Army.
