On August 17, from 10:55 a.m to 2:20 p.m Armenian armed forces units subjected to fire units of the Azerbaijani Army in the direction of Heyderabad residential settlement of Sadarak District of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic from their positions in Arazdeyen residential settlement of Vedi district by using a sniper rifle, machine gun, and submachine guns.

Axar.az reports citing MoD that furthermore, positions of the Azerbaijani Army in the direction of Galakend residential settlement of Gadabay district and Istisu residential settlement of Kalbajar district were subjected to fire from positions in Goysu and Shishgaya residential settlements of Chambarak district and unnamed highlands from 11:18 a.m to 1:37 p.m using weapons with different calibres.

The opposite side was responded by retaliatory fire.

There are no casualties among the personnel of the Azerbaijani Army.

Operational conditions are under the control of our forces.
