The Caspian littoral states will hold joint naval drills

Russia, Azerbaijan, Iran and Kazakhstan will hold joint military exercises in the Caspian Sea in early September.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from Deputy Commander of the Russian Caspian Fleet Sergei Yekimov.

He said the training will be held after the Caspian Cup.

It should be noted that the Caspian Cup is being held in Iran for the first time. Ships from Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Iran and Russia are taking part in the competition.
