On the occasion of Victory Day, a meeting was held with veterans of the Special Forces and families of heroes killed in the Great Patriotic War.

Axar.az reports that the Defense Ministry told that first, the memory of national leader Heydar Aliyev and the martyrs for the territorial integrity of the Republic of Azerbaijan was commemorated with a minute of silence. The national anthem was played. The participants of the ceremony laid flowers at the bust of national leader Heydar Aliyev and the memorial to the Special Forces erected on the territory of the military unit.

A cake made on the occasion of Victory Day was cut at the event, and various gifts were presented to veterans and children of martyrs.

The children were shown modern firearms and their questions were answered.

Mugam singer Kanan Bayramov sang songs glorifying heroism and patriotism.

At the end, the guests talked with the staff at the tea table.
