On January 12, Azerbaijani Defense Minister Colonel-General Zakir Hasanov had a telephone conversation with Turkish National Defense Minister Hulusi Akar.

Axar.az reports citing MoD.

H.Akar expressed his condolences over the death of our serviceman as a result of provocation committed by the Armenian armed forces on January 11 in the direction of the Kalbajar region of the Azerbaijani-Armenian border.

Akar said that the Turkish Armed Forces, as always, stand by Azerbaijan in the war of truth.
