The remains of Novruz Taghi oglu Taghiyev, a junior sergeant who died while performing his duty as an overtime active military serviceman of the Azerbaijan Army, were buried today in Tovuz region.

Axar.az reports that the body of Novruz Taghiyev was buried in Kokhanabi village cemetery, prayers were read for his soul, wreaths and carnations were placed on his grave.

The management of the Tovuz District Executive Authority, employees of the State Service for Mobilization and Conscription, the Ministry of Defense, law enforcement agencies, and public representatives took part in the farewell ceremony.

At the end of the funeral ceremony, the tricolor flag of Azerbaijan was presented to Namig Taghiyev, brother of Novruz Taghiyev.

It should be noted that the son of Taghiyev Novruz Taghi died in the evening of July 9 as a result of a car accident.
