Axar.az reports that "Global Firepower" portal, specialized in the military field, published information about this.

According to the international ranking in 2023, Azerbaijan ranked 57th among 145 countries. Georgia ranks 85th, Armenia ranks 94th.

The first three in the list are the armed forces of the United States, Russia and China. The sister country Turkiye is in 11th place.

During the compilation of the rating, aspects such as technological development in the arms industry, financial situation, material and technical capabilities and flexibility of the armies are evaluated.
