A memorial ceremony dedicated to the memory of Elvin Imamaliyev, Emin Amrahov and Sabuhi Ahmadov, who rose to the height of martyrdom for the liberation of our lands from occupation, was held.

Axar.az was informed about this by the Ministry of Defense.

The ceremony was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Defense and the public, family members and relatives of the martyrs, comrades-in-arms, employees of the Army Ideological and Cultural Center named after Hazi Aslanov, cadets, as well as other guests.

First, the memory of Great Leader Heydar Aliyev and those who died for the territorial integrity of our country was commemorated with a minute of silence. The National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan was played.

Those who spoke at the event spoke about the historical victory of the Azerbaijan Army in the Patriotic War under the leadership of Commander-in-Chief Muzaffar, as well as the examples of heroism and valour shown by our brave sons in other successful military operations.

Then the presentation ceremony of the books dedicated to the martyrs was held.

The family members and relatives of the martyrs expressed their gratitude to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and the leadership of the Ministry of Defense for the attention and care shown to them, as well as for honouring the memory of our martyrs.

In the end, songs glorifying patriotism were performed by the soloists of the Army Ideological and Cultural Center named after Hazi Aslanov.
