U.S. set to announce $125M aid package for Ukraine

The U.S. is preparing a new military aid package worth approximately $125 million for Ukraine.

Axar.az reports that this information was released by the Associated Press.

According to the report, this aid package includes air defense missiles, HIMARS munitions, Javelin, and several other anti-tank missiles. It will also include drones and electronic warfare systems and equipment, 155 mm and 105 mm artillery shells, vehicles, and other equipment.

"Officials provided this information on the condition of anonymity, as the aid has not been publicly disclosed. An official announcement may be made on Friday, ahead of Ukraine's Independence Day. The weapons are being provided under the President’s Drawdown Authority, meaning they come from Pentagon stocks and can be delivered more quickly," AP noted.
