Gold tops $3,750 per ounce as prices rise

Gold rose 1.2 percent on international exchanges today, exceeding $3,750 per troy ounce for the first time.

Axar.az reports that the price of a troy ounce of December gold futures rose $45.22, or 1.22 percent, from the previous day to $3,751.02.

The price of a troy ounce of December silver futures rose 2.65 percent to $44.09.
