Russian oil supplies to Georgia jump 16-fold in 2025

In 2025, supplies of Russian oil to Georgia increased more than sixteenfold, reaching 95.8 million US dollars.

Axar.az reports, citing RIA with reference to the Georgian Customs Service, that this is a record figure.

In absolute terms, Georgia’s imports of Russian oil rose from 10,500 tons to 225,300 tons. The previous maximum was recorded in 2016, when Georgia imported 39,600 tons of oil worth 10.8 million US dollars.
