Gold prices near $5,000 again

Gold prices on global commodity markets have once again approached the $5,000 mark.

Axar.az reports that on the COMEX, gold futures rose by 0.96%, or $47.4, to $4,995.8 per ounce. Spot gold also increased by 1.12%, or $55.11, reaching $4,977.3.

At the same time, COMEX silver prices climbed by 1.46% to $76.81.
