Armenia is the poorest in region

Armenia is the poorest country of the South Caucasus.

Axar.az informs citing the Armenian press, it is stated in the report of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) on the analysis of economies of different countries.

The document states that gross domestic product per capita is $ 10,000 in Armenia this year. By this indicator, Armenia ranks 113th among 192 surveyed countries.

According to the report, the richest country of the region is Azerbaijan. Gross domestic product per capita in the country is $ 18.04 thousand.
