Azerbaijan increased gas exports to Turkey

In July 2022, the export of natural gas from Azerbaijan to Turkey increased by 31.47 percent compared to the same period of 2021.

Axar.az informs about this with reference to the Energy Market Regulation Organization of Turkey (EPDK).

During the reporting period, gas exports from Russia to Turkey amounted to 1.448 billion cubic meters, from Iran to 870.54 million cubic meters, and from Azerbaijan to 709.97 million cubic meters.

In July, gas exports from Russia to Turkey decreased by 37.2 percent, and from Iran increased by 37.48 percent.

In July 2022, Turkey's total gas import increased by 15.71 percent compared to July last year and amounted to 3,411 billion cubic meters. Turkey imported 3.029 billion cubic meters of natural gas through pipelines, and bought 382.8 million cubic meters as liquefied natural gas.

Turkey's pipeline gas import decreased by 12.95 percent, and liquefied natural gas import decreased by 32.66 percent.
