A political solution of the Karabakh conflict should be found.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov told journalists at a joint briefing holding with his Azerbaijani and Iranian counterparts. According to him, Putin's special focus on the Karabakh conflict:

“We are meeting with colleagues from Azerbaijan and Armenia. Yesterday, I held talks with President Ilham Aliyev and Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov. Tomorrow, a meeting with Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian will also be devoted to it. We are more interested in the resolution of this conflict, as opposed to other foreign partners.”
