Armenian media reports that a subversive group of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces allegedly attempted to the Armenian side of the contact line are false and groundless, the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry told APA on Thursday.

The Armenian population is in fear and panic after the country’s defense ministry has announced some of its numerous losses as a result of recent clashes on the contact line of Armenian and Azerbaijani troops, the Defense Ministry said.

“Thus, Armenia’s criminal military-political leadership will for a long time continue disseminating information that the Azerbaijani army allegedly carries out subversive acts on a daily basis and will report the causalities in order to explain its other losses,” the Defense Ministry said, noting that to cover up their failures, the Armenians have no other option except for such pretexts,” said the ministry’s press service.
