According to the Belarusian President’s press service, Alexander Lukashenko and Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliyev have held a telephone conversation today.

Discussing the current situation and bilateral relations prospects, the politicians confirmed their strategic nature, pointing out that the cooperation has always been built in the spirit of friendship and mutual understanding.

The two Presidents also elaborated on cooperation in the trade-economic sphere and expressed willingness to strengthen mutual trade. As for industrial cooperation, the Belarusian side is ready to consider launching joint ventures in Azerbaijan to enter the markets of third countries. Alexander Lukashenko and Ilham Aliyev agreed to continue the tradition of regular contacts
