Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs extended condolences to Mexico over a deadly metro overpass collapse on Tuesday.

Axar.az reports citing the Twitter account of Ministry.

“We are very saddened by the news on the collapse of a metro overpass in Mexico City. We express our condolences to the families of the victims of this tragic accident, as well as to the government and the people of Mexico, and wish a speedy recovery to all injured,” the Ministry wrote on Twitter.

At least 23 people were killed and about 65 injured after a metro overpass collapsed in Mexico City while a train was traveling on it on Tuesday.
