Azerbaijani MP, chairperson of Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) Committee on Migration, Refugees and Displaced Persons Sahiba Gafarova has attended the meetings of the Assembly's Bureau and Committee on Equality and Non-Discrimination.

The meetings featured discussions on the fight against cyber discrimination and online hate, violence against women and the strengthening of their social and economic rights.

The meeting heard draft reports from the Committee members.

The meeting also identified the delegates who would attend the World Forum for Democracy to be held this November.

Azerbaijani MP, General Rapporteur on violence against women and political coordinator of the PACE Network Women Free From Violence Sahiba Gafarova commented on the issues discussed.
