Rainfall triggers major landslide in India -

A fresh landslide in Indian Rimbi village under the Yuksom-Tashiding constituency of West Sikkim triggered a mudslide on Friday, sending large amounts of mud, rocks and debris downhill amid continued rainfall.

Axar.az reports, citing The Times of India, that the landslide has raised concerns among residents as nearby houses, properties and road connectivity remain at risk. No loss of life has been reported so far in the incident.

There was, however, no loss of life, officials said.
