According to the agreement on military cooperation between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Turkey, joint combat tactical training has started in the Lachin region.

Axar.az reports citing MoD that the main purpose of the training with the participation of Azerbaijani and Turkish servicemen was to improve interaction and combat coordination during combat operations, as well as to develop commanders' military decision-making and unit management skills.

The training paid special attention to improving the skills of using modern combat equipment and other military equipment in difficult terrain.
