President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva visited Fuzuli region on October 17.

Axar.az reports that the head of state laid the foundations of the Fuzuli-Agdam highway and a new "smart village" in the village of Dovletyarli in the Fuzuli region, which was destroyed during the occupation. President Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva got acquainted with the conditions created at Fizuli International Airport. President Ilham Aliyev has laid the foundation of the Digital Substation Management Center of Azerishig OJSC in Fuzuli.

Then, President Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva got acquainted with the conditions to be created in Fuzuli Central City Park, where they planted trees. The head of state laid the foundation of the first residential buildings.

Then the head of state laid the foundation stone of the Fuzuli Memorial Complex and the city of Fuzuli.
