Today, the Azerbaijani government sent humanitarian aid to Moldova to provide emergency medical care to meet the needs of Ukrainian IDPs who entered the territory of the Republic of Moldova as a result of the crisis in Ukraine.
Axar.az reports the plane departed from Heydar Aliyev International Airport at 10:00 on April 15 to deliver 29 tons of humanitarian aid worth more than 1.7 million manats to Chisinau airport.
It should be noted that on the instructions of the country's leadership on February 27 and March 12 this year, Azerbaijan sent to Ukraine medicines, medical supplies, devices, and equipment, as well as food products totaling 21.5 million manats (more than 11.5 million euros). About 520 tons of humanitarian aid were sent.
