Azerbaijan sent second batch of petroleum products to Armenia

The first economic results of the peace process with Azerbaijan are already being felt, and by the end of the year Armenia will save about 16 billion drams (approximately $2.6 million).

Axar.az reports that Armenian Economy Minister Gevorg Papoyan said this during a broadcast on Armenian Public Television.

He emphasized that the import of Azerbaijani gasoline is not a one-time initiative:

“This is a long-term and sustainable process.”

Speaking about the transit of fuel through Georgia, Papoyan noted that Tbilisi has offered favorable and low tariffs, so no increase in fuel prices is expected.

It should be recalled that on January 9, Azerbaijan sent its second shipment of petroleum products to Armenia.
