Russia denies targeting the Azerbaijani embassy in Kyiv

The Russian Foreign Ministry has rejected the accusations made about the shooting down of the Azerbaijani embassy in Kyiv.

Axar.az reports that Moscow stated that the statements about the targeted missile strike do not reflect the truth.

According to the statement of the institution, an explanation was provided to the Baku side regarding the incident on time. The Russian version states that the damage to the diplomatic mission buildings was most likely caused by the malfunction of Ukraine's air defense systems.

The ministry also emphasized that the Russian army targets only objects belonging to the Ukrainian military-industrial complex and that the attacks are not directed at civilian and diplomatic facilities.

It should be noted that Russia's statement after the shooting down of the Azerbaijani AZAL plane was also in a tone of denial. However, over time, secrets were revealed, and all the facts became clear. Apparently, this policy has already become a habit in the Kremlin.
